BioMedical Asia 2009: MakroCare exploring partnership opportunities

Japan:The 6th annual BioMedical Asia 2009 is Asia’s largest biomedical science event, featuring conferences, focused summits, and workshops under one roof. Convene Pharmaceutical and Biotech senior executives, regulators, investors and other industry stakeholders to explore partnership and investment opportunities and discussed best operational strategies and successful business models at Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre from 16-19 March 2009.

The convention drew a record attendance of about 1000 delegates from the global and particularly Asian biomedical industry. Asia has seen double-digit growth of its biotechnology industry revenues and is rapidly becoming a leading player in the global search for new medicines. Asia is increasingly important as a market and resource for the global biomedical industry. The expanding and fast-rising middle class population present new market opportunities for global biomedical companies. Many leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies are already leveraging on Asia as a cost effective strategic location to conduct R&D, manage clinical trials, and manufacture their products for the global markets.

In conjunction with the conference, the BioMedical Trade Exhibition also showcases the latest technologies and products of the biomedical industry. MakroCare was one among the participants & exhibitors in BioMedical Asia 2009, at Singapore, exhibiting its clinical research services at Booth No P-31. Uncovering its service lines and explaining how we help customers who need quality clinical research services, we aimed at promoting drug development in Asia. Number of delegates and leaders from global biotech and pharmaceutical companies visited our booth and showed keen interested in joint ventures, partnering, and exploring other opportunities.
